| Synopsis: Dill, Jeff and Mary have been friends since childhood; upon returning from Spain, Jeff finds that Dill and Mary are engaged, much to Jeff's dissappointment. Playboy Dill gets drunk the night before the wedding and elopes with an old girlfriend. Jilted Mary tries unsuccessfully to forget her love and is tempted when Dill steps back into her life. The characters are likable and believable, but the plot is not. However, good performances and one hilarious scene with Montgomery in a lady's robe make this film well worth watching. |
