| Synopsis: Jewel thief Nick Revel becomes inadvertently involved in the investigation of a series of bizarre police murders. Scotland Yard Superintendent Connor is convinced Nick is the mysterious 'Mr. X' and tries his best to prove it. There really isn't a lot of mystery to the story, but it is a nicely done little suspense picture. Montgomery is both debonair and charmingly flippant as the suave criminal and Elizabeth Allan (not to be confused with Montgomery's wife, Elizabeth Allen) is quite charming as Police Commisioner Frensham's daughter, Jane, the object of Nick's affection. |
