Patricia Medina, after appearances in countless motion pictures, makes her Broadway
debut in "Calculated Risk." Her long list of film credits includes "Plunder in the Sun,"
"Botany Bay" (with Alan Ladd and James Mason), "The Black Knight" (Ladd again),
"Desperate Search" (with Howard Keel), "Stranger at My Door," "Duel on the
Mississippi," "Mission Accomplished" and many others. A Londoner by birth, the
daughter of a Spanish father and English mother, Miss Medina has been seen by
English theatregoers in "Arms and the Man" and has done many plays at California's La
Jolla Playhouse including "Rope," "Biography" and "The Prodigal." Her numerous
television appearances include a recent role in "The Premature Burial" for NBC-TV's
Thriller. Miss Medina, with husband Joseph Cotten, devotes as much time as possible
between professional assignments to the development of their Pacific Palisades home in
California, which she, as an accomplished painter and interior decorator, is currently
refurbishing.
